Are you ready to accelerate your potential and learn from an ASE certified master technician?

Today’s automobiles require highly skilled technicians to maintain their complex systems. 

  • Work on any car in a rapidly changing industry using a full systems approach

  • Analyze, diagnose, maintain, and repair basic and advanced automotive systems

  • Learn light diesel, and use the same advanced diagnostic and repair equipment as Master Technicians

 *This automotive program is designed to be for the career-minded and not for the weekend hobbyist.


Skilled technicians are in high demand due to the constantly evolving technology of today's vehicles and retiring workforce of aging technicians. Currently, there are not enough new technicians to fill the demand of the automotive repair industry! Here at Mason County ATC you'll have the opportunity to learn the foundational skills required to be a successful technician. Automotive Technology provides instruction in systems such as engines, fuel, on-board computers, transmissions, steering, suspension and brakes is the basis of this program.  Knowledge of the various systems is used to develop skills in troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, servicing and repairing automobiles.In our NATEF-Accredited (www.NATEF.org) Auto Tech program, students have the opportunity to learn how to repair actual vehicles using Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) NATEF tasks and guidelines.
