My name is Chris Ullery and I am the Health and Physical Education teacher at Mason County High School. I spent six years teaching Physical Education at Mason County Middle School and I have spent the last 9 years at Mason County High School. Fifteen years of teaching has really gone by fast. Currently I teach Physical Education, Health Education, Conditioning, Advanced Weight Training, Kineisiology and Sports Nutrition.
I have been coaching football for fifteen years and I currently coach the Linebackers, Punters and serve as the Defensive Coordinator. I enjoy coaching tremendously. The preparation, meetings and organization that goes into each season is really awesome. I have been lucky to work for a great head coach and to be apart of making Mason County football a huge part of our community.
I was raised in Maysville, KY (Mason County) and I graduated from Mason County High School in 1994. After high school I was fortunate enough to receive a baseball scholarship from Georgetown College. I graduated from Georgetown College with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Studies. I have completed my Masters in Secondary Counseling from Morehead State University and I have a Rank I in Instructional Leadership, also from MSU. I have two kids, one boy and one girl. My son Peyton is eight years old and is entering third grade. My daughter Sydney will turn five in September of this year. I spend a lot of time being a dad and I enjoy every minute of it. I really enjoy my time with my family and my two kids. I enjoy interacting with any and all kids. That in itself is what got me interested in education and coaching.
In my spare time I enjoy watching and attending sporting events. I am really not particular about what I watch or attend, I enjoy it all. I love the Kentucky Wildcats, the Reds and the Bengals. Individually I enjoy a lot of time on the golf course. Lastly, I enjoy vacationing and spending a lot of time with my family.
