Description:
A vocal music performance course including musical activities involving Concert Choir, Mixed Chorus Small Ensembles and Musical Productions within the humanities curriculum. 

Students with keyboard and piano experience may audition for accompanist positions with the choral ensembles. 

Students enrolled in the class may participate in the keyboard/midi lab activities during the regular class setting. The choral ensembles present a wide range of music styles and concerts including the Christmas Gala Concerts, Spring Musical, Spring concerts and numerous programs during the year. 

The class focus is on choral performance with supporting activities incorporating musical styles, theory, music history, musical theater/production and the humanities. Additional activities for students include KMEA music events including All-State Chorus, Chorale Tours, recording and special area concerts and performances.

The choral class will include required activities outside the regular school day.

    Non-Traditonal Day assignments are to be completed as below. 

    Identify the key of each exercise with a capital letter. 
    Match each note with its cooresponding solfege syllable

    Day 2 - Exercises 7-14

    Day 3 - Exercises 15-22

    Day 4 - Exercises 23-30

    Day 5 - Exercises 67-73
