A new policy was announced to students on 12/6/17. Said policy is being enacted because of students' irresponsible use of their technological devices (cell phones, Chromebooks, iPads, etc.); this, at times, has included an attempt to share answers with students in later classes via said devices.
Because of such irresponsible and deceitful behavior, students may not use said devices during class, on quiz or exam days, from when the assignments are handed out, until the bell rings at the end of class.
ANY STUDENT CAUGHT DOING SO WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO USE NOTES ON CLASS QUIZZES!
I allow students to use notes on quizzes during class; however, that is a PRIVILEGE... and NOT a right. The privilege will be taken away if this simple rule is not followed. If the rule is broken, this will likely have a VERY negative impact on your student's grade. Please make sure that they are aware of the negative implications that could accompany such an avoidable, unwise decision.
