Kentucky Tech - Get Technical...It Pays!

Vision:  With high expectations and strong partnerships, Kentucky Tech will actively engage all students in the mastery of academic and technical skills needed to be ready for college and a career.

Mason County ATC - Skills USA and HOSA

Mason County ATC is proud of their participation in SkillsUSA, a partnership of students, teachers, and industry representatives, working together to ensure Kentucky has a skilled workforce.  The organization helps each student excel and part of a national organization serving teachers, and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled, and service occupations.  Mason County ATC students can participate in local, regional, state and national competitions in which students demonstrate occupational and leadership skills.  At the annual state SkillsUSA Kentucky Leadership and Skills Championships, approximately 1,000 students compete in 99 occupational and leadership skill areas.

SkillsUSA programs also helps the ATC students to establish industry standards for job training in the lab and classroom, and promote community service.

HOSA is an international student organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education (HSE) Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA's goal is to encourage all health science instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.

Membership fees of $20.00 to join are due on November 30th.
